But are you setting your goals too high?
It's a question that's worth asking ourselves, especially in today's world where social media can make it seem like everyone around us is achieving incredible things.
But the truth is, many of us are setting our goals based on ego and what we think others expect of us, rather than what truly matters to us.
This can lead to feelings of unhappiness and frustration when we don't meet these high expectations.
We can start to believe the happiness & contentment that eludes us, is just on the other side of achieving these goals, and I see people become stuck in a cycle of unhappiness in trying to reach them.
And the unhappiness becomes a contributing factor as to why the next step isn’t reached.
Take it from me, true happiness doesn't come from reaching a certain goal or achieving a certain status.
It comes from within.
So instead of setting your sights on unattainable goals, try setting smaller, more achievable ones that align with your values and passions.
This will not only give you a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment, but it will also help you lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
Remember, it's okay to have big dreams and ambitions.
But it's important to focus on what truly matters to you and not get caught up in the comparison game.
Or believing the life you see in a 3 minute, rap video is a real, attainable & sustainable one. It’s not.
So by all means go ahead and set your goals, but make sure that your dream is really your dream.
A dream that truly resonates with who you are and what you want to achieve in life.
Maybe you should make your goal in 2023, an easy one to reach, just to be happy.
Then once you cracked that, then aim for the super car.
