The best salesperson is the one who doesn’t seem like a salesperson.
So sorry guys, you can take off your apprentice-type suit, matching pink tie and socks and fake smile. We leak the truth.

That’s not going to cut it. Not with someone like me.
Sales is just a conversation.
Yeah, you can have your elaborate strategies and your “techniques”. But at the end of the day, it all boils down to one thing…
A conversation.
If the buyer doesn’t like the seller, it’s going nowhere.
The answer is no, what’s the question?
Reading a book on sales doesn’t make you a superstar salesperson.
That alone ain’t gonna cut it.
It’s a contact sport.
Getting hit.
Getting those rejections.
Then learning how to get around them and pushing through the self-doubt, on the road to building your confidence up.
It all comes down to just getting those whacked and being daft enough to keep going when you don’t want to keep going.
An expert is someone who has made all the mistakes in a niche field.
Wanna be an expert salesperson, keep making calls, decisions and mistakes.
You have to start believing that you’re great in conversations. Well before you are.
The first person you have to convince of your brilliance. Is you.
And you’ll only get that through practice.
You won’t sell anything with self-doubt.
But you will with a sales mindset.
And it all starts with belief, believing you can do it.
