Devices have been seized.
CHARGES have been issued.
Not me by the way!
I’ll go as far as that.
Sometimes you will be due an apology that you’ll never receive.
You know my mindset is my biggest strength. It wasn’t always this way, a bit like when you go to the gym, a muscle tears, it hurts, it grows back stronger.
In my life I’ve dealt with things that have caused immense pain, (we all have) each time I’ve refused to succumb, but grow from it.
“Revenge is a dish, best not served. Move on” 🦁
Whatever it is, time to move on and get on with your life.
Revenge is driven by the desire for justice, to make the wrongdoer suffer as they have made others suffer.
It seldom achieves this.
Instead, it perpetuates a never-ending cycle of harm and retaliation.
By seeking it, and this is important, we become participants in the very injustice we sought to correct, losing sight of the true path towards being a better human being.
In Star Wars terms, always pick up a blue not red lightsaber.
I said yesterday leave the bad behaviour to the other side.
Which is exactly what I’ve done for the last 3 years.
Choosing not to pursue revenge requires immense mental strength and courage.
It entails breaking free out of the cycle of anger, resentment, and aggression.
But each time you do, it empowers you to move forward, creating a legacy of personal peace allowing for a brighter future.
Fucking long way of doing it tho eh.
Equally from experience, never just leave a kitchen fire to burn the house down.
REVENGE IS A DISH, BEST NOT SERVED...
Have you ever met a really angry person who doesn’t believe that they are 100% right on the thing/issue?
Negativity wipes out logic, blurs thinking and helps to create yet more wrong.
Stay positive & you’ll stay 100% right.
Scooby Doo villains who finally get revealed, rage about how they would have gotten away with it, if it’s wasn’t for you pesky kids.
You don’t have to worry about getting away with it or being revealed by pesky kids when you’ve done nothing wrong.
The emotional intensity of anger can foster an inability to objectively assess a situation or consider alternative perspectives.
This can lead to a strong conviction, in their own righteousness, despite the possibility of being entirely mistaken.
Staying positive helps to maintain clarity and open-mindedness, allowing for a more accurate assessment of situations.
Maintaining a positive mindset doesn't guarantee being 100% right, but it absolutely does contribute to a more constructive and balanced approach.
The analogy of Scooby-Doo villains getting revealed and expressing frustration about being caught by "pesky kids" is a lighthearted way to illustrate the idea that when you haven't done anything wrong, there's no need to worry about being exposed or facing consequences.
In life, being honest, ethical, and accountable for our actions brings peace of mind and removes the need to fear being caught or exposed free from the anxiety of being caught by our deception.
It allows us to navigate our work and days with integrity and confidence, knowing that we have nothing to hide.
The angry person?
Maybe they become even more angry because there never were any pesky kids, but it was themselves in their instance on being right and in a rage of anger finally removed their own mask.
Any dastardly plot was always doomed to fail, so why even start?
Anger, creates wrong.
That’s why people end up in really bad and sad places.
Right?
